What Makes a Strong Photography Brand?

In the 20 + years of being a photographer, I’ve built my photography business from a side-hustle to multiple six-figure incomes. I was able to do that because I learned and leveraged the power of branding.

I learned what makes a strong brand and what doesn’t. Today, I’ll go over the four main characteristics of a strong brand to help your business scale to the next level.

“Having a solid brand is essential to having a solid business.”

HIGHLIGHTS

How does artificial light affect my branding?

Because I was able to create consistent light in all circumstances, I was able to produce the same quality images every. single. time.

The key to having a strong brand is creating consistency in your work. Learning to create your own light is the quickest and easiest way to create consistency.

Why it is important to have a strong brand?

Having a strong brand makes difficult things like standing out in a saturated market, finding clients and marketing much easier.

Now, branding is not all about your logo, color pallet and fonts. It is so much more.

No one else sees things the way you do, and that uniqueness will become instantly recognizable. The style that YOU have becomes your brand.

Your work not only becomes recognizable, but it also becomes trustworthy. Clients will know exactly what to expect when they hire you for your service.

That my friend is what it takes to have a strong brand, and therefore, a solid business.
