One of the things I work on with the photographers inside my Six Figure Studio group coaching program is how to build out a strong, repeatable marketing plan.

Why?

Because it's important. And the truth is most photographers don't do it.

Instead, they rely on what I call Hope Marketing...

What is Hope Marketing?

You know... when you post a pretty picture or two and HOPE someone sees it and books you. Or when you see what someone else is doing, maybe your competition or someone you admire and think to yourself that if you just do what they do, you’ll be successful too.

Hope Marketing is the business equivalent of throwing noodles at the wall to see what sticks. And friends, it doesn’t work.

BUT, real marketing does work... always.

What is real marketing?

Real marking starts with knowing what it is you do and who you serve. Once you are crystal clear on those things, you can create a plan to speak to the people you serve about what it is you do.

That’s it.

Marketing is just communication. So ask yourself, how are you communicating to your potential clients beyond just posting pretty pictures?

My advice?

Ready to up your marketing game?

Get crystal clear on what YOU do and who YOU serve.

Remember, you are unique.

You have something special to share.

And we all work in different communities and serve different people.

There is no such thing as a "one size fits all" photography business.

So get clear on what makes you unique. Once you do, building a marketing plan specifically for YOUR business becomes much, MUCH, easier.

And if you need help getting started, download my FREE guide, The Six-Figure Photography Framework. It will help you avoid some common mistakes and help you get clear on the things you MUST have to build and grow a profitable photography business.
