Can you take your lighting set up on location? Hear how New York City photographer Jaine Kershner does it in her business!

How to use lighting when you work on location is a worry that I know many photographers have.

Isn’t it too hard to carry all of that gear?

Does it take a ton of time to set up?

How do you make it work when your clients have small homes?

All really good questions!

So to find the answers, I reached out to New York City photographer, Jainé Kershner.

In this interview, Jainé shares why she started using artificial light in her work, how she learned, and what she uses when working inside her client’s small New York apartments! She also shares how she gets her lighting equipment on the subway and into your client’s homes as well as whats in her kit!

For those of you who work on location, this interview is definitely worth a listen!

And for those of you at home, “sheltering in place”, we talk about ways to use this time to be productive and up your lighting game, so that when this is all over, you and your business will be ready to be unstoppable!
